Installing Citrix Workspace on a Personally-Owned Mac (How-to)

Citrix Workspace is software that provides access to Drake's virtual applications and desktops. These instructions are for downloading Citrix Workspace on a personally owned Macintosh computer.

If you need Citrix Workspace for a Drake-owned computer, please follow the instructions at Installing Citrix Workspace from Self Service on a Mac (How-to). Once you have Citrix Workspace installed, reference the instructions for Using Citrix Virtual Applications and Desktops (How-to).


1. Downloading Citrix Workspace

  1. Click the download link: https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/mac/workspace-app-for-mac-latest.html
  2. Click the Download Citrix Workspace app for Mac button

2. Installing the Download File

Find the downloaded file and launch it.

  1. Click Install Citrix Workspace and follow the prompts to begin the installation.
 

3. Add Account

  1. At the end of the installation process, choose Add Account and click Continue

4. Successful Installation

  1. Click Close to close the installer.

5. Add

  1. In the Citrix Workspace window enter vdi.drake.edu and click Add. NOTE: Be sure not to enter your Drake email address.

6. Logging in

  1. Enter your 9-digit Drake ID and password.
