Installing Citrix Workspace on a Personally-Owned Windows Computer (How-to)

Citrix Workspace (formerly known as Citrix Receiver) is software that provides access to Drake's virtual applications and desktops. These instructions are for downloading Citrix Workspace on a personally owned Macintosh. If you need Citrix Workspace for a Drake-owned computer, please follow the instructions at Installing Citrix Workspace from Software Center on Windows (How-to). Once you have Citrix Workspace installed, reference the instructions for Using Citrix Virtual Applications and Desktops (How-to).

Find the downloaded file and launch it.

  1. Click Start.
  2. Select I accept the license agreement and click Next.
  3. Be sure to deselect Enable single sign-on and click Install.
  4. Wait for the installation to complete.
 

3. Configuring

  1. When the installation has completed, click Add Account.

  1. Enter vdi.drake.edu and click Add. NOTE: Be sure not to enter your Drake email address.
 

5. Logging in

  1. Enter your Drake ID and password and click Log On.
