Windows App (formerly Microsoft Remote Desktop) is software that provides access to Drake’s virtual applications and desktops. Follow these instructions to install Windows App on a Windows computer.
1. Install Windows App
Select whether you are using a Drake or personally-owned device below:
Drake-owned Windows Computer
- Click on the Search button at the bottom of your screen.
- In the search bar, search for Company Portal.
- Click on Company Portal in the search results to open the application.

- Using the Search bar in the top left corner of the Company Portal, search for Windows App.
- Click on Windows App.
- Click Install.

Personally-owned Windows Computer
- Go to the Microsoft Store page for Windows App by clicking here.
- Click View in Store.
- Click Get to download the application.

2. Log In to Windows App
- Open Windows App.
- At the Welcome to Windows App screen, click on Skip.

- If you are prompted to sign in, click on Sign in. If you are not prompted to sign in, proceed to step 5.

- Select your Drake account from the list. If your account is not present, click on Use other account.

- Once you have signed in, a list of assigned virtual applications and desktops will be displayed.
