macOS Platform Single-Sign On Registration

Summary

Instructions for the macOS Platform SSO update process

Body

If you received an email from ITS about upgrading your computer to Platform Single-Sign on, use this guide for more detailed information. As part of the University’s Workday implementation, our authentication process for macOS computers has been switched to a more modern method. You'll still use your Drake password, but you'll no longer need to be on campus when you change your password. Changing this PSSO process does require some action by you. If you need assistance in the process, reach out to the Support Center.

1. Beginning the Update

1. You'll get a pop-up from your Mac Notifications Center. Click anywhere on the message or the “Register” button.

If you closed the pop-up without continuing, it will reappear after some time. If the pop-up hasn't returned after a couple days, reach out to ITS and we can resend it to you.

2. Click Continue.
