Storage Access Change

Shared file storage is available to colleges and departments to facilitate data sharing, collaboration, and instruction. When roles change for University employees and students, authorizations to shared storage locations need to be updated. Report permissions changes that need to be made on existing shared file storage.

You will be contacted by ITS staff when the request has been completed or to gather more details.

Requirements

In order to request shared storage permissions changes, you will need to provide the following information:

  • Full path to the location of the shared storage
  • Names and Drake ID numbers of people who need to have access granted or revoked
  • A description of the issue
Additional Information

Requests for change of authorization to shared storage locations should be submitted by college/department leadership or owners of the shared storage. Read-write access is given by default. Please specify if someone should be granted read-only access.
