Telephone Move or Change

Move an office telephone from one location to another on campus.

What to Expect

An ITS staff member will reach out to schedule a time for moving the office telephone to its new location. When the phone is relocated, systems will be updated with the new location information and a test call will be made to ensure the phone is working properly.

Requirements

In order to submit a service request for a telephone move or change, you will need to provide the following information:

  • The “from” and “to” locations so we can easily locate the phones.
  • The old and new extension numbers for any phones affected by the move.
Additional Information

The ITS staff member handling the request may not have a key to all office locations, so please make sure that someone is available to let the technician into the office(s).
