My Drake Account Has Been Compromised (FAQ)

If you suspect or have been told that your account has been compromised and you're unable to log into your Drake account, see that your email account is being used to send out spam email to others, or were informed by a co-worker or someone else of unusual account activity, complete the steps below.


1. Immediately change your password.

2. Contact the Drake ITS Support Center at 515-271-3001 to report what's happening.

The Support Center staff member may assist you in changing other account passwords, perform anti-virus scans on your computers, or disconnect the affected computer from the Drake network to prevent any malicious software from spreading.
