Blackboard Course Merge

Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS) is a web-based course management tool used to organize and deliver materials for courses. Blackboard provides tools and functions for file sharing, grading, wikis, discussion boards, chat rooms, and more. Blackboard course merge requests are used to copy all student enrollment from two or more courses into a “parent” course to avoid having to replicate and update the same content across multiple courses offered in the same semester.

What to Expect

Courses will be merged within 24 hours of the request, unless the request is made outside of business hours.

In order to request a course merge you will need to provide the following information:

  • CRNs of all courses being merged
  • Preferred course name
