This article will show you how to create a Panopto video from within your Blackboard Ultra course. Before you begin, make sure that you have created a Panopto Video Library folder for the course.
Create a video in a document

To begin, select the document where you want to create a video.
- Select Add Content.
- Next, click the plus (+) sign and click on Content Market.
- Click on the card that reads Panopto Video Embed.
- Click Record to create a new video.
- Capture (Browser): This option opens a version of Panopto in your current web browser. You may need to select "Allow" from the pop up window to allow access to your webcam and computer audio. Click Launch Capture to begin.
- Panopto (App): This option will open the Panopto program installed on your computer. Click Download to install the app or, Launch App to begin. Read more about how to Create Recordings Using Panopto Video Recorder.
- After recording your video, return to the tab with the Panopto LTI Launch page. You can adjust any Video Embed Options you want by clicking the down arrow. When ready click Insert.
- You will be prompted to add a Display Name for the video, then click Insert to add the video to the Document.

Create a video in a folder or learning module

To begin, select the location in a folder or learning module where you want to add a new video.
- Click the plus (+) sign and select Content Market (see image below).
- Choose the card that reads Panopto Video Embed.
- Click Record to create a new video.
- Capture (Browser): This option opens a version of Panopto in your current web browser. You may need to select "Allow" from the pop up window to allow access to your webcam and computer audio. Click Launch Capture to begin.
