Scanning to OneDrive is the easiest way to scan a document and save it somewhere secure. It allows you to scan large files without encountering size restrictions or diminished quality. You can then share documents via email, Microsoft Teams, or just share directly from OneDrive. See more about using OneDrive by visiting the OneDrive/Shared Storage category in the Knowledge Base.

Authorize PaperCut to access OneDrive
If this is your first time using the Scan to OneDrive functionality in PaperCut, you will need to authorize PaperCut to access your Microsoft (OneDrive) account. This authorization process will only need to be done once. All future scans will be automatically sent to your OneDrive.
- You will soon get an email from scans@papercut.com with the subject line: Authorize Scans for PaperCut MF to save to your OneDrive. In this email, click on the Login to OneDrive button to authorize PaperCut to place the scanned document in your OneDrive file storage.
- You will then see a success screen notifying you Scan to OneDrive is now configured.
Finding your scanned document
- Your scan will then show up in your OneDrive in the Apps folder, under Scans for PaperCut MF, as shown below. You may now move this file elsewhere in your OneDrive, such as to the Documents folder, or add it to an attachment in an email.
- You will also get an email with a direct link to the file you scanned. Click Go to your scan! from the email to access it.
