Clearing Browser Cache and Cookies

Body

Troubleshooting Internet browser issues usually starts with clearing your browsers cache and cookies. These two features helps to speed the process of your browser loading by 'remembering' information from the website. However, when browsers are regularly updated, the cache could conflict with the updated information. Clearing the cache and cookies are an easy way to clear the browser memory and remove inconsistencies. Though trying an alternate browser may help in the short term, the 'memory' of the browser that was not cleared could be an issue again in the future.

Note: Clearing the cache will reset site page information (website updates, images, etc.).

Note: Clearing your cookies will reset sites where you have logged in with passwords and you will need to re-login.

Troubleshooting

  1. Try a different browser or incognito window in a preferred browser.
  2. If step 1 works, clear the cache and cookies of the problematic browser and try again. If this resolves your issue.
  3. If neither browser works, submit a help ticket and include the steps you have already taken to remediate the issue.
