Single Sign-on and Drake Applications (FAQ)

Body

What is Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication process allowing a user to access multiple applications with one set of login credentials. This means a user logs in once and gains access to different applications without the need to re-enter login credentials for each application. SSO authentication facilitates seamless network resource usage, and mechanisms vary depending on application type.

What program does Drake use for Single Sign-On?

Drake utilizes Microsoft Azure Active Directory to facilitate login to many Drake resources.

What does this mean for me?

Single Sign-on (SSO) allows Drake users to use one standard set of credentials to access all Drake services, systems, and applications.

What systems can I access through Drake's Single Sign-On?

Please note:

  • Drake's SSO only works with your Drake email address.
  • Some applications are deemed extra confidential and require an additional security prompt for multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • You may not have access to all listed applications.
