Viewing, Emailing, or Downloading Your Class Roster with Photos (How-to)

For Instructors: All instructions start with going to myDrake at my.drake.edu using your favorite browser and logging in using your Drake email address and password. For more information, see Signing in to Microsoft-connected systems (How-to).

To view your class roster:

1. Click on the Self Service icon in the Commonly Used Apps section.

2. On the Course Management card, click the Class Roster link.

3. Select the Term using the drop-down menu or scroll to find your course.
4. Hover your cursor over any of the blank/white space (not the title or CRN) and double click to open the class roster.

To email your class roster:

Follow steps 1-4 above to access your course roster.

1. Once you’re on the course roster, click the checkbox in the top row of the list to select ALL students or select the checkbox next to individual students you want to email.
2. Click on the email icon next to the search bar at the top of your class list. You will then see a draft email message with the students’ email addresses populated in the Bcc field. NOTE: This function in Self Service is configured to work with Microsoft Outlook, Drake's supported campus mail system. Other email platforms may not recognize this formatting. To email large groups directly from Self Service on a PC (Windows), open Self Service in Firefox.

To view a printable class roster with photos:

1. Click on the Self Service icon in the Commonly Used Apps section.

2. On the Course Management card, click the Class List with Photos link.

3. Select the Term using the drop-down menus.
4. Select the course using the drop-down menus OR
5. Enter the CRN for a course.
6. Click Click to View List for a class list.
7. Click Export Class List to download a CSV of your class list containing additional information.
8. Click Printable Class List With Photos then Print List to print off a class roster with photos
