If you are receiving an error message from Zoom telling you it needs to be updated and to contact your IT team, follow the instructions below to manually update Zoom Desktop Client. This process will lead you through downloading the latest version of Zoom Desktop Client, uninstalling the older version, reinstalling the latest version, then configuring it to use Drake single sign-on (SSO).
NOTE: This article assumes you're using a Drake-owned Mac. If you're running Zoom on your personal Mac, the steps are pretty much the same, but you will skip step 2.1 and use your personal macOS password to authenticate.
For more information on Drake University's SSO, please visit our Single Sign-on and Drake Applications (FAQ).
