Signing in to Microsoft-connected systems (How-to)

Follow the instructions below when signing in to Microsoft-connected systems including myDrake, OneDrive, Teams, and Outlook.

1. At the login screen:

  1. Type your Drake email address.
  2. Click Next.

NOTE: If you no longer have a current email, you will use your nine-digit Drake as a username. Example If you do not know your Drake ID number or can’t retrieve your password, call the IT Support Center at 515-271-3001. View instructions on resetting a forgotten password if needed.

  1. Enter your Drake password.
  2. Click Sign in.

NOTE: Multi-factor authentication is required for students, faculty and staff to access this campus system. See Using Multi-Factor Authentication (FAQ) for instructions.

  1. If you elected to use the Microsoft Authenticator app for multi-factor authentication, type in the number displayed on screen into your mobile device. Otherwise, type in the number sent to your phone via a text message or phone call.
  2. Click Yes.
  3. If you are using your personal computer, click the check box next to Don't show this again, and then click Yes. Otherwise, click No.
