Recalling, Deleting, or Copying a Requisition in Self Service (How-to)

The instructions below will show you how to recall or delete a submitted pending requisition or copy a completed requisition from Finance Self Service.


For all options, start at the My Finance screen.

  1. Click My Requisitions to begin.
  2. You will then land on the My Requisitions page.

Recalling a Requisition

  1. From the My Requisitions page, click on the pending requisition you want to recall. It will take you to this screen. NOTE: Requisitions can only be recalled if in Pending status on the My Requisitions page. Once requisitions are in Completed Requisitions status, they cannot be recalled.
  2. Click Recall My Requisition.
  3. When prompted “Do you want to recall this Requisition”, click Yes.
  4. When successfully recalled, a confirmation message will appear.
  5. You will then see the requisition in Draft Requisitions status on the My Requisitions page. You can then click on the document and modify before resubmitting or delete the document.

Deleting a Requisition

  1. From the My Requisitions page, click on the pending requisition you want to delete. It will take you to this screen. NOTE: A requisition can only be deleted if it is in Draft Requisition status on the My Requisitions page. You must first recall the requisition before you can delete it. See the Recall a Requisition section above for instructions.
  2. Click Delete Requisition. Once deleted, the requisition will no longer appear in the list on the My Requisitions page.

Copying a Requisition

  1. From the My Requisitions page, click on the requisition you want to copy. It will take you to this screen. NOTE: A requisition can only be copied if in Completed Requisitions status on the My Requisitions landing page. You can use the search to help you find the requisition you want to copy.
  2. Click Copy Requisition.
  3. When prompted “Do you want to copy this requisition?”, click Yes.
  4. Once the requisition has been copied, a success message will appear.
  5. You will then see a new requisition with a unique ‘R’ number. NOTE: The new requisition will copy the details (vendor, payment amount, etc.) of the copied requisition into the new requisition. These details can then be modified before you submit the new request for approval.
