Launching Campus Desktop for ODBC Connections (How-to)

An ODBC application (Microsoft Access or Microsoft Excel for example) is able to connect to the Banner database to pull data directly out for manipulation by the application. You must know your Oracle user name and Drake password AND have been granted an ODBC role to access the Banner database through ODBC.

NOTE: Be careful of where you save files as Citrix Workspace deletes saved files at the end of each session.


1. Launch the Campus Desktop

1. Open Citrix Workspace

2. Launch Campus Desktop 

  1. Select Desktop from the top menu.
  2. Select Campus Desktop.
