How to navigate around the Home Page, Home Dashboard, Requests page and Tasks page in
ProcessMaker.
ProcessMaker Main Pages
1. Home Page
Top Menu:
All users should have at minimum: Home, Requests, Tasks and Designer.
Side Bar:
Clicking on the Drake Icon will return you to the ProcessMaker Home Page. Below the Drake Icon is a list of Saved Searches available for each user. Some users may also have access to Saved Searches for specific processes.
Search Bar:
This search allows you to query Request, Task and Collection data.
Note: You will only be able to see the requests you have permission to view.
Start Case Button:
Opens a menu of all processes that the user has permission to start a new request. (This used to be the Start Request button)
Notifications:
Notification messages about requests and tasks.
Dashboard Menu:
Only visible for users with multiple dashboards. Tabs for additional dashboards that the user has been granted access.
User Menu:
Links to user profile, ProcessMaker documentation and support, and log out.
2. Home Dashboard
My Tasks:
This table displays tasks that are assigned directly to the user. The user can click on the Task name to open the task or the Request name to open the request.
Self Service Tasks:
This table displays tasks that are in a self service queue and available for the user to claim.
My Requests:
This table displays all requests started by the user.
Start New Request:
This table displays a list of buttons to start a new request for all processes available to the user.
3. Requests
Search Bar:
This search bar will search request data for a search term or will accept ProcessMaker Query Language (PMQL).
Save Search:
Saves the set of search parameters to a Saved Search displayed in the left side menu.
My Requests:
Click on this button to view all requests that are in progress where you are the requester.
In Progress:
Click on this button to view all requests the are in progress that you have permission to view.
Completed:
Click on this button to view all completed requests that you have permission to view.
Filters and Sorts:
Requests can be sorted or filtered by Case Number, Case Title, Process or Alternative (version). Options for filtering and sorts can be accessed by clicking the menu button in the Column Header.
4. Tasks
Search Bar and Filters:
This search bar will search request data or will accept ProcessMaker Query Language (PMQL). The filters allow the user to filter requests by Process, Status, Requester and Participants.
Save Search:
Saves the current set of search parameters to a new Saved Search.
Task Options:
Options to open the task or the request.
Self Service Tasks:
View all
Tasks that are in a Self Service queue that the user is a member of.
