Adding Content (How-to)

This guide will show you how to add an additional piece of content to an existing section/page on your website through either Direct Edit or Site Structure access.

1. Adding Content through Direct Edit

  1. Click on + Insert Content at the point in your section (page) where you want to add your new piece of content. NOTE: If you change your mind later, you can drag and drop the order of your content by clicking on the map arrows icon in the upper left corner of your content (shows up when you hover your mouse over the content area).
  2. On the Insert content menu that pops up, select the content type that you would like to add and click the green + Insert button. You will see the types of content that are available based on your system role. The most commonly used content type is Body Copy.
  3. Enter your content Name and Title (if desired) and then add content to the Main body.
  4. Be sure to Save and approve once you're happy with your changes.
  5. You'll see a green success bar letting you know your addition was successful.
