Logging in to Update your Department Website (How-to)

There are two paths to access the back end of the TerminalFour system in order to make changes to your department or college website. Below are directions for each. In both cases, however, you first have to complete training to be given access to the system. To begin that process, please submit a Drake Website (CMS) Access/Training request.


Direct Edit Access

1. Go to the page on your department or college site that you want to edit.

  1. Enter the URL of the page you want to edit in the browser bar. NOTE: If you're on a Mac, please use Safari or Firefox browsers. On a PC you can use Firefox or Internet Explorer. Google Chrome is not recommended.You must enter the website from a page that you have access to. If you don't, you will see an error message.
  1. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the copyright symbol to access the page edit functions.

The copyright symbol will bring you to the login screen.

  1. Enter your Drake ID number (Username) and Password.
  2. Click Log In.

Logging in will bring you back to the drake.edu page that you want to edit with a menu of options on the left hand side

Site Structure Access

To log in to make changes to the Drake website via the Site Structure method, go to cms.drake.edu. If you're on a Mac, please use Safari or Firefox browsers. On a PC you can use Firefox or Internet Explorer. Google Chrome is not recommended.

  1. Enter your Drake ID number (Username) and Password.
  2. Click Log In.
  3. You will now see the sections you are assigned to edit.
