Banner Third-Party Services Issue

Drake ITS creates and maintains connections and data feeds between the Banner system and several other systems. Use this service to report any issues you have with the following systems.

  1. Starfish is the student success tool used on campus. Send questions on navigating Starfish or implementing new functionality to starfish@drake.edu to reach the Starfish administration team.
  2. TimeClock Plus is the tool used by certain hourly employees to track hours.
  3. Virtual EMS is Drake University’s system for room/event scheduling. The EMS system streamlines the room scheduling process and provides you with the ability to browse space availability, look up room set-ups and capacities, view photos of certain spaces, and more.
  4. Campus Logic and CL Connect are Financial Aid systems used to send out award letters and allow for federal student verification.
  5. StarRez is Drake University’s housing and meal plan selection portal.

Students experiencing issues with housing or meal plan selection should contact contact Residence Life for assistance. Staff in their offices will work with ITS as needed to resolve issues.

To report your issue, provide a description of the issue or inaccurate data you're encountering. Please be prepared to include the following additional information:

  • Error messages received
  • TimeClock Plus
    • Name and Drake ID number of people impacted
  • Virtual EMS
    • Device type (Windows or Mac computer, mobile device, etc.)
    • Browser type (Internet Explorer, Chrome, etc.)
    • Browser version
  • StarRez (Housing, Meal Plan)
    • Drake ID of student
    • Time and date issue was noticed
    • Term issue is related to
